We watched a PBS program on China the other night and I highly recommend it - it's called "Young & Restless". It's very insightful and gives a little peek into what is happening in that country. They followed 8 people over a period of, I think, 4 years. They have the whole program in 10 min. increments - just follow the link:
At the end of the program they said next time on Frontlines you can watch, "Frontline/World: Jesus in China". This one has also come and gone but you can watch online. This is an eye opener to what is happening in China and the body of Christ.
I've discovered some excellent teaching on the web and would highly recommend his teaching to you, Steve Gregg has now become my favorite Bible teachers. His teaching is a wonderful resource for anyone who would like to take on a book of the bible verse by verse or have an interest in topical teaching. In July I had to re-roof our house. Wow, it was harder than I ever imagined. I laid my first shingle at the beginning of the job and hopefully the last one at the end of the job. I was pretty wasted by the end of the job. I envy no man who's job is roofing. I don't have a final picture but... :) Actually, it turned out really, really well.
